ABOUT Kadhai Paneer RECIPE

Kadhai paneer is one of the favourite dish of every house it is a melt in the mouth dish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gms - paneer
  2. 1 - capsicum (cubed)
  3. 1 - onion (cubes)
  4. tomato puree - 1/2 cup
  5. Onion - 1 (chopped)
  6. ginger-garlic paste - 2 tbsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1 cup - finelly chopped tomatoes
  9. 2 - chopped green chilies
  10. Grated ginger - 1 tbsp
  11. Kashmiri lal mirch - 1 tsp
  12. 2 tsp - coriander seeds
  13. 1 tsp - jeera
  14. 1 tsp - peppercorn
  15. 2 - red dry chilies
  16. Kasoori methi as per taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a kadhai, fry chopped onions and then put ginger garlic paste. Saute for a minute.
  2. Now mix in the chopped tomatoes, mix well ...
  3. Put chopped green chilies, grated ginger, salt and kashmiri lal mirch, red chili powder. Mix well
  4. Now put tomato puree and little water and cook well. When the oil separates then it is cooked well.
  5. Meanwhile in an another pan saute capsicum and onion cubes and cook till they are tender.
  6. For kadhai paneer masala, dry roast coriander seeds, jeera, kali mirch and at last put dry red chilies and kasoori methi. Cool and make a coarse/dardara powder.
  7. Now in the gravy put paneer cubes, fried onions and capsicum and 1 tsp of the kadhai paneer masala and garnish with kasoori methi.
  8. Adjust salt and chili according to your taste.

kasoori methi is also to be roasted??
