ABOUT Cream of Sweet Corn Soup RECIPE

Here is a quick and healthy recipe of Cream of Sweet Corn Soup. There are two types of sweet corn soup that are popular in restaurants, Sweet corn clear soup and Cream of Soup Corn. Sweet corn clear soup is more appetizing where as Cream of Sweet corn soup is more filling.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 Nos Fresh Sweet corn cob
  2. 1 tsp Salt
  3. 1/2 cup Milk
  4. 1 pinch Basil (Optional)


  1. If you are using fresh sweet corn, peel the corn and take out the kernels.
  2. Bring the kernels to boil. I cooked them in pressure cooker for 2 whistles or 10 minutes.
  3. Cool down the cooked corn kernels a bit and then grind them in a mixer adding salt.
  4. Strain the ground mixer by adding water as necessary. Top it with pepper and Basil and serve hot.
