ABOUT Spring Onion and Potato Paratha RECIPE

Onions and potatoes are a rich source of Vitamins, minerals and antioxidants so this simple snack recipe is a very healthy one and also liked by kids.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Potatoes - 300 gms (boiled)
  2. Spring onion - 100 gms
  3. Green chilli - 1 finely chopped
  4. Garam masala - 1 tsp
  5. Amchoor - 1 tsp
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. Wheat flour - 2 cups
  8. Ajwain - 1 tsp
  9. oil - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Boil and mash the potatoes and chop the spring onions finely.
  2. Mix both in a big bowl and add all spices and salt.
  3. Knead the dough just like chapati dough with ajwain, salt and oil.
  4. Take a ball of dough and roll the Paratha, keep a big spoon of stuffing in the center and gather the flour from all sides and again form a ball just like we do for all stuffed parathas.
  5. Roll again and roast on griddle with ghee.
  6. Serve with homemade butter, sauce or curd.
