Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup - paneer (grated)
  2. 2 - potatoes (boiled & mashed)
  3. 1/2 cup - (finely chopped) spinach
  4. 1/2 cup - (grated) carrots
  5. 1/2 cup - finely chopped cabbage
  6. 1/2 cup - finely chopped coriander
  7. 1 small piece ginger (grated)
  8. 1 tsp - green chillies finely chopped
  9. 1 tbsp - cornflour
  10. Salt per taste
  11. 1 tsp - mango powder
  12. 1 tsp - garam masala powder
  13. 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  14. 1 cup - malai
  15. 1 - big onion
  16. 2 - tomatoes
  17. 1 tbsp - garlic paste
  18. 1 tbsp - coriander powder
  19. 2 tbsp - canola oil

Instructions

  1. Mix paneer, potatoes, spinach carrots, cabbage, mango powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, ginger and green chili and salt.
  2. Make small koftas with the above mixture.
  3. Now make paste with onion tomato and add garlic paste to it.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the koftas coated with cornflour.
  5. In the leftover oil, fry tomato, onion and masala till it begin to leaves the sides.
  6. Add coriander powder, chili powder, salt, garam masala to it and mix well.
  7. Add 4 cups of water to the masala and boil for sometime.
  8. Now add 1 cup of fresh malai to the masala and mix well till it boils. Cook for sometime, till the gravy thickens.
  9. Add koftas to gravy just before serving and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
