ABOUT Multigrain Chocolate Ghee Biscuits RECIPE

This is a tasty and healthy snack for your little ones. Made up of a perfect blend of healthier flours and chocolate flavor, this recipe is going to be loved by your kids. They are crispy, tasty and nutritious too.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Multigrain flour or wholewheat flour 1 cup
  2. Cocoa powder 1/2 cup
  3. Ghee 1/4 cup
  4. Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  5. Egg 1
  6. Sugar 3/4 cup
  7. Jam 2 tbsp (optional)

Instructions

  1. Beat sugar and egg together until well mixed.
  2. Then add in the ghee and vanilla essence and mix well.
  3. To this, add the multi grain flour and cocoa powder.
  4. Mix well to form a soft dough. If the dough is too sticky, add in 2-3 tbsp more of the flour.
  5. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  6. After that, take the dough out.
  7. Roll it into a thin sheet.
  8. Cut out shapes using a cookie cutter.
  9. Preheat the oven to 180 degree centigrade.
  10. Grease a baking tray.
  11. Place the cut out biscuit shapes on the baking tray.
  12. Prick them with a fork, or if you want jam centers, make a shallow well at the center and fill with jam.
  13. Bake the biscuits for 12 minutes.
  14. Allow to cool completely.
  15. Enjoy the crispy chocolate biscuits.
