Besan ka Cheela

Ingredients to make Besan ka Cheela

  • gram flour 2 cup
  • Boiled and mashed potato 1 large size
  • chopped onion 2 tbsp
  • Chopped green chilli 1 tbsp
  • Chopped coriander 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder 2 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Dry mango powder 1 tsp
  • oil for frying

How to make Besan ka Cheela

  1. Sieve the gram flour and make a batter with adding water. Add salt, red chili powder, green chili, coriander, onion, potato, lemon juice and mango powder.
  2. Heat the non-stick pan. Now pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan.
  3. Drizzle with a little oil and lift the edges of the Cheela to allow oil to go under it. Flip now and cook till the other side is golden too. Serve hot with salad, and curd.

My Tip:

We can also add some grated carrots and spinach.
