ABOUT Vegetable Egg and Cheese Dosa RECIPE

This dosa is laden with tomatoes, capsicums, cheese and eggs and is a perfect snack that you can prepare for kids. It is healthy, delicious and easy to make. This dosa tastes great with tomato ketchup.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups dosa batter
  2. 4 eggs
  3. 4 cheese cubes grated
  4. 2 capsicums finely chopped
  5. 2 tomatoes deseeded and chopped
  6. 2 onions thinly sliced
  7. salt to taste
  8. Red chilli powder to taste
  9. Chaat masala to taste
  10. oil as needed


  1. Whisk 1 egg, salt and red chilli powder (to taste) in a bowl and keep ready.
  2. Heat a non stick frying pan in low flame and spread a tsp of oil.
  3. Add ladle of dosa batter and spread evenly.
  4. Pour the egg mix and immediately add onions, tomatoes, capsicums and cheese.
  5. Sprinkle chaat masala and close a lid.
  6. Cook in low flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Open and check if the dosa is cooked on the lower side.
  8. Turn it to the other side and cook for about 2 minutes.
  9. Once the eggs are cooked and the capsicums and tomatoes have turned slightly soft, turn over the dosa and serve.
  10. In the same way make the remaining 3 dosas.
  11. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
