Chocolate Cake

Ingredients to make Chocolate Cake

  • butter 200 gm
  • sugar 200gm
  • Coco powder 4 tbsp
  • 3 eggs
  • maida 200 gm
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Orange zest 1tbsp
  • Vanila essence t tsp
  • For frosting-
  • 100 gm dark choclate
  • 100 gm butter
  • 300 ml double cream

How to make Chocolate Cake

  1. First mix Coco powder in water. Then beat the butter and sugar, after beating for few seconds, add Coco mix in it.
  2. Add the eggs, one by one into the coco batter, while whisking it. Sieve Maida and baking powder. Now mix them in butter sugar mix. add vanilla and fold gently.
  3. Grease baking tin and dust with flour. Pour mix in pot .Bake cake on 180 degree for 20-25 minutes. Let it cool. Meanwhile we make frosting. Take a pan and heat cream. Then add chop chocolate in it.stir continuously. When it melt add butter in it. Frosting is ready.
  4. Cut the cake horizontal and cover with frosting. Cover with other half cake and cover this also with frosting. Now decorate it with gems. Put wafers biscuit outside of cake and decorate it.

What can be the alternate for eggs. Would it b fine if we don't add eggs?
