This is an innovation of mine, inspired by Mexican tacos

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Oil - 3 tbsp
  2. Onion - 2
  3. Cumin powder - 1/4 tablespoon
  4. Garam masala powder - 1/4 tablespoon
  5. Red chilli powder - 1/2 tablespoon
  6. Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tablespoon
  7. Red kidney bean (rajma) - 100 gms
  8. Coriander for garnish
  9. Wheat flour - 200 gm
  10. Salt as required
  11. Tomato chopped - 1/2 tablespoon
  12. Cabbage/lettuce chopped - 1/2 tablespoon
  13. Capsicum chopped - 1/2 tablespoon
  14. Grated cheese - 2 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Soak Rajma / Red kidney bean overnight in water and Pressure cook - mushy, strain excess water
  2. Heat a kadai, add oil, Ginger garlic paste, chopped 1 onion
  3. Add cumin, garam masala and red chilli powder
  4. Add salt and mash everything together
  5. Finally garnish with coriander - Rajma stuffing ready
  6. Combine wheat, salt and water to make a dough
  7. Make mini chappathi/ rotis
  8. Take 1 mini roti and place rajma stuffing over it
  9. Then top with chopped 1 onion, tomato, cabbage/lettuce and capsicum
  10. Finally add cheese and close with another chapatti and seal the sides
  11. Place it on a pan, drizzle some oil or ghee and cook on both the sides
  12. Serve as such or slit into two
  13. Tastes best with tomato sauce
