Veg Pizza

Ingredients to make Veg Pizza

  • For 8" Pizza Base
  • flour 250 gm
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • sugar 2 tbsp
  • Milk 2 tbsp
  • Cooking oil 50 ml
  • yeast 5 gm
  • For Filling
  • tomato Puree 100 ml
  • Mixed herbs 1 tsp
  • Cheddar cheese 250 gm
  • salt 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Parmesan cheese 50 gm
  • Yellow Bell pepper (Diced) 75 gm
  • Red Bell pepper(Diced) 75 gm
  • onion (finely chopped) 1
  • corn 75 gm

How to make Veg Pizza

  1. Preheat the oven to 275 degree C.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together in a glass bowl to a pliable and smooth dough.
  3. Keep aside under a damp muslin cloth to prove/rise.
  4. When done, knock back the dough and roll out into an 8" disc.
  5. Place on a greased and flour dusted baking/cooking tray.
  6. Prick the base all over with fork.
  7. Bake in a hot oven at 225 degree C for 4 minutes and remove from oven.
  8. Spread the tomato puree evenly over the pizza bread.
  9. Arrange the vegetables over the puree.
  10. Sprinkle herbs, salt and pepper on top.
  11. Mix the two cheese together and sprinkle on the top.
  12. Change the oven function to broil. Place the pizza onto a greased and dusted baking tray in the centre rack position.
  13. Broil at 250 degree C for 8 minutes.
  14. Remove using tongs and serve hot.

My Tip:

I used Homemade tomato puree for this recipe.
