Gatte ki Sabzi

Ingredients to make Gatte ki Sabzi

  • 100gm gram flour(basen)
  • 1/4 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli
  • 1 pinch eating soda
  • 1 table spoon oil
  • salt to taste
  • Garvy
  • 2 tamotoes (greated)
  • 2 onions (greated)
  • 1/2 spoon ginger garlic chilli paste
  • Half spoon red chilli powder
  • Half spoon coriander powder
  • Half tea spoon Garam masala
  • Green coriander garnish
  • 1/2 tea spoon Cumin seed
  • salt to taste

How to make Gatte ki Sabzi

  1. In a bowl mix the besan.all spices and oil together to make the mixture for the Gatta.
  2. Make it like same as roti dough.
  3. Once you get the dough to a good can now just divide it and roll them out into long thin strips
  4. Now boil 1 litre water add all the strips in boiling water.
  5. They will be very delicate so handle with care.when they start floating it means they are ready.
  6. Take out from water let them cool.After cooling cut the long strips into 1 cm small pieces and deep fry theses pieces.
  7. Once there are nice and golden brown take them out and now prepare the garvy.
  8. In a pan add 1 tbsp of d oil In which d gattas were fried. Add the chillies and zeera to the oil and let brown
  9. Now add the greated onions and saute till it's colour changes to golden brown.Add ginger garlic chilli paste.
  10. After this add tomotes and saute it well. Add all the spices.After 3 to 4 mins add gattas and saute it and good amount of water. Let it cook for 5 to 6 mins.
  11. Garnish with green coriander

My Tip:

Ypu can add potatoes in it.for more flavour.
