Dahi Kachori

Ingredients to make Dahi Kachori

  • dahi /curd 250 grams
  • Refined flour / Maida 350 grams
  • Cooking oil - 1/2 cup
  • cucumber /kheera (one Large )
  • salt (according to taste )
  • Kaala namak ( black salt ) According to taste

How to make Dahi Kachori

  1. Wash cucumber and grate it. Squeeze out the excess water from the grated cucumber. Mix this with the yoghurt and kala namak [black salt]
  2. Knead a soft dough prior to the above step. Divide the dough into 2 different sized roundels [one small and the other bigger than that]. roll the roundels into puris.
  3. Now spread the curd cucumber mixture onto the larger puri, cover it with the smaller puri, crimp the ends in such a manner that they are completely sealed. Fry them immediately in hot oil, serve with some chutney on the side.

My Tip:

You can add bit of chaat masala.
