Ingredients to make Kadhai murg

  • 1 medium sized 800 chicken cut into 12 pieces
  • 6 tblspn oil
  • 1 tblspn sabut dhania
  • 3 sabut lal mirch
  • 1 tspn deghi mirch
  • 3 large onions cut into slices
  • ginger garlic paste 2 tspn
  • 3/4 cup tomato puree
  • 1 tspn dhania powder
  • 2 tspn salt
  • 1/2 tspn amchoor
  • 1/2 tspn garam masala pdr
  • 1/2 cup chopped coriander
  • 1capsicum cut into slices
  • 4 large tomatoes chopped.

How to make Kadhai murg

  1. Put coriander n whole red chilies on a tawa.roast till it starts to change colour.dont make them Brown.remove from fire
  2. Crush the coriander seeds on chakla belan.keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai.add jeera,whole red chilies n saute.
  4. Add onions n cook on medium heat till light brown.
  5. Add Ginger garlic and saute for 1 min.
  6. Add all Masala s
  7. Add chicken n bhuno for 10 min on high flame.
  8. Add chopped tomatoes.cook for another 5 min
  9. Add tomato puree n cook for 15-20 min
  10. Add capsicum n chopped coriander.cook for 5 min.
  11. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Instead of tomato puree I added 1/4 cup tomato chilli sauce.
