Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 and half cup dal (Gram pluses)
  2. 100 gm panner small chopped
  3. 2 large onions (greated)
  4. 2 large tamotoes (greated)
  5. Half spoon ginger garlic chilli paste
  6. Half cup milk
  7. oil /ghee
  8. 1/4 gram masala
  9. Half spoon coriander powder
  10. Half spoon turmeric powder
  11. Half spoon red chilli powder
  12. Half spoon kasuri methi
  13. 2 spoon cream
  14. 1 inch cinnamon
  15. 1 cloves
  16. 1 taj leaves
  17. salt to taste
  18. Half spoon cumin seed
  19. coriander leaves garnish


  1. Start by soaking the dal into hot water for 20 to 30 mins.In a kadai take some amount of oil.Let it heat.After heating put cinnamon, cloves, taj leaves,cumin seeds after few second add onions.
  2. Let the onions colour change to golden brown and onions will leave the oil know put ginger garlic chilli paste and saute it for few mins.
  3. After this all the spices.Add tomotes and cook it for 5 to 6 mins.Take out the mixture from kadahi.
  4. Now take out the dal from water.In a pressure cooker put dal And add the mixture of onions and tamotoes.cook it for few second.Add milk and cream together.Add good amount of water.And one whistle it. After one whistle.Slow the flame cook for 4 to 5 minutes.Now add panner and cook it for more 2 to 3 mins.
  5. After all this process tak out the dal in a container garnish with coriander leaves,and cream.It is ready to eat.
