Ingredients to make Wheat flour cheese kulcha

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt..or as per taste..
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp oil any or moyan
  • 3 tbsp curd
  • 1 cup luke warm milk for kneading dough
  • For stuffing -
  • Mozzarella cheese as required
  • For garnish -
  • 1 tsp kalonji or onion seeds
  • 1 bunch coriander chopped
  • 1tsp garlic chopped

How to make Wheat flour cheese kulcha

  1. Mix all ingredients in a big bowl and knead the dough.
  2. Cover it with a cling and let it rest for at least 2 hours in a warm place. I keep it in oven.
  3. After two hours it will rise.
  4. Knead the dough again with little oil and divide it into equal balls
  5. Stuff with cheese and cover it and justsroll it with your hands or rolling pin
  6. Garnish it with coriander, kalonji and garlic
  7. Bake it in a pre heated oven at 200 degrees C for 8-10minutes or it till it it becomes golden brown.
  8. Grease with butter or ghee, you can eat it plain or with Dal , paneer or any vegetable.

My Tip:

Baking ovens are always different so choose right time and temperature as per your oven. Normally it bakes in 8 minutes at 180-200degrees C. Seasoning can be changed as per your taste. if you want to skip cheese you garnish it with your favourite seasoning.
