ABOUT Peanut whole wheat cookies RECIPE

Made with the goodness of atta, peanut and jaggery, these are yummy and crunchy

Ingredients Serving: 15

  1. Whole wheat flour 100 gm
  2. Thick jaggery syrup 2 tbsp or as reqd
  3. Baking Powder a pinch
  4. Baking soda 1/8 tsp
  5. Salt a pinch
  6. Butter 75 gm
  7. Cardamom Powder 1/4 tsp
  8. Crushed roasted peanuts 100 gm

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and jaggery syrup well. Add the dry ingredients and mix well.
  2. Refrigerate the dough for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Shape as desired and Keep on a tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 15-18 minutes.
  4. Cool on a wire rack and store in airtight containers.

Thanks for the recipe. Do we have to bake with both rods on or only with bottom rod of oven.
