ABOUT Crispy potato cheese balls RECIPE

Cheese balls that melt in the mouth. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 3 big sized potatoes boiled peeled and mashed
  2. Oil for deep fry
  3. 4 cheese cubes grated
  4. 1 green chilli finally chopped
  5. 1 tbsp amchur powder (dried raw mango powder)
  6. 1/2 tabs oregano flakes
  7. 1/4 tabs red chilli powder
  8. 1/2 tabs chat masala
  9. Pinch black peper
  10. Salt to taste
  11. For the dip
  12. 4 tabs rice flour
  13. Pinch oregano flakes
  14. 1/2 tsp black peper
  15. Salt to teste
  16. 4 tabs bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes until tender peel their skin chop them into pieces Mash well. Add the rest of the spices and mix well. Add salt. If the mix is too wet add some rice flour.
  2. Rub some oil to your palms. Now make marble sized balls from the mixture. Flatten each ball with your fingertips. Add cheese to it and wrap the edges towards the center and form a ball.
  3. Stuff cheese into all balls. And then coat with bread crumbs. Refrigerate for 10 minutes. .
  4. Meanwhile make the dip. Add in a bowl rice flour. salt,oregano, black pepper add water make it smooth paste
  5. Heat oil in a pan. Dip the balls into this paste and then deep fry until golden brown.
  6. Place the balls on absorbent napkins to remove excess oil. Serve hot with green chutney or sauce.
