ABOUT Crisp Namkeen RECIPE

It is a mixed flour recipe, made with rice and wheat flour

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice flour 1/2 cup
  2. Wheat flour 2cups
  3. ajwain 1 teaspoon
  4. Oil 2 tablespoon for moyan
  5. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take both the flours in a bowl.
  2. Add ajwain and salt and mix them nicely with hand
  3. Now give it a good moyan with oil/ghee.
  4. Knead it nicely with a little water and make a not so soft dough.
  5. Make small bowls and roll them, and cut into diamond pieces(like namakpara).
  6. Finish with the whole lot and heat oil.
  7. Fry the namkeen till golden brown on medium flame.
  8. Take them out on tissue paper to absorb excess oil.
  9. Serve with it hot with amchoor chutney or tomato sauce.
