ABOUT Murg Malai Tikka RECIPE

Murg Malai Tikka is a very simple and popular snack. Those who love non-vegetarian food,relish it anytime of the day,either in their sandwiches or as apitizers with their drinks.It is very versatile dish.You can eat it as it is or use it in sandwiches, pizzas, salads or even in wraps.Usually tikkas are made in clay ovens but you can made these on griller or in your oven

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boneless chicken 500gm
  2. Ginger garlic paste 2tsp
  3. Green chilli paste 1tsp
  4. Lemon juice 1&1/2tsp
  5. Hung curd 1/4cup
  6. Cream or malai 1/4cup
  7. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  8. Coriander powder 2tsp
  9. Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Kashmiri red chilli powder 1tsp
  11. Oil as required
  12. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut boneless chicken into bite sized pieces. For first marination mix ginger, garlic paste, green chilli paste and salt and and rub this to the chicken pieces and keep in the fridge for an hour.
  2. Now add all the dry spices, curd and cream. Add a tbsp of oil.Mix well and keep in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours.
  3. Now skewer the chicken pieces – baste with oil – bake in OTG at 250 C for 7-8 minutes – baste with oil again – bake for another 10 minutes or until chicken is done.
  4. Or you can use a non stick griller pan also. Heat little oil in the pan and put chicken pieces on it and grill for 5-6 minutes on each side, basting oil in between.Serve with salad and mint and coriander chutney.

tried this recipe turned out to be yumm..thanx 4 sharing...i topped n tossed it wt sm more malai..
