ABOUT Spring onion stuffed parantha RECIPE

The dough is kneaded with the green portion and the onion is stuffed inside.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Whole wheat flour 2 cups
  2. Finely chopped spring onion 1/2 cup (the green portion)
  3. Onion bulbs 5-6
  4. Carrom seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Salt 1 teaspoon
  6. Green chilly chopped 1 teaspoon
  7. Oil for roasting

Instructions

  1. To the wheat flour add chopped green portion of the spring onion, carrom seeds, salt and knead a soft dough.
  2. Keep the dough covered for half an hour.
  3. Take medium size ball, stuff it with the onion and green chilly and roll it by dusting flour.
  4. Roast it from both sides on tawa with some oil.
  5. Serve hot with butter or pickle.
