Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 cup wheat flour
  2. 1 cup Pearl millet Flour
  3. 2 cup carrot grated
  4. 1 cup organic brown sugar
  5. 1/2 cup cow milk
  6. 2 tsp ginger Grated
  7. 2 tsp baking powder
  8. 4 egg
  9. 1 cup Canola oil
  10. 2 tsp Cinamon
  11. 1/4 tsp salt
  12. 1/4 cup walnut optional


  1. Pre-heat the oven at 100 degree C. Grease a 9-inch baking tin or line with butter paper. Keep aside.
  2. Sift together the pearl millet flour, wheat flour, cinnamon powder, baking powder and salt in a bowl. In a bowl mix oil and sugar for 30 sec.
  3. Add egg one by one and mix well. To this add flour mixture in three equal part and add milk in between.
  4. Make a smooth batter.Mix grated ginger, carrot ,walnut and fold it. Pour the batter into Baking tin and bake for 40 min till it's done or until a skewer inserted at the centre comes out clean.
