Instant Jalebi

Ingredients to make Instant Jalebi

  • 1/2cup - all purpose flour
  • 1tsp - corn flour
  • 1tsp - yogurt
  • 1/4tsp - vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1/2tsp - Eno fruit salt
  • 6tbsp - water or as per required
  • PINCH OF YELLOW FOOD COLOUR
  • Syrup - 3/4 cup - sugar 1/3cup - water 1/2tbsp - lemon juice

How to make Instant Jalebi

  1. Keep the pan on high heat add sugar and water for syrup. Let it come to boil now on medium heat let it simmer for 5 min or till 1 thread consistency,now add lemon juice to prevent the sugar from crystallization.
  2. Keep the eno aside and mix all the ingredients lastly add eno fruit salt and give it a final mix.
  3. Now in a wide pan add oil and 1 tsp ghee and start preparing jalebi.
  4. Fry for 1 to 2 min each side until light golden colour and soak it in sugar syrup and serve it nice n hot.

My Tip:

The syrup should be little warm when you soak the jalebi.
