Homemade Wheat Ravioli

Ingredients to make Homemade Wheat Ravioli

  • 2 cups whole wheat
  • 2 cups maida or all purpose flour
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 bunch basil leaves
  • 2 spoons herbs
  • 2 spoons chilli flakes
  • 1 pound tomatoes
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese
  • salt to taste
  • 3-4 garlic cloves

How to make Homemade Wheat Ravioli

  1. To prepare marinara sauce heat a pan and add some olive oil , chop garlic cloves
  2. Blend the tomatoes coarsely and add to pan , simmer for 10 minutes till thick - marinara is done add chopped basil to this
  3. To make the ravioli add the all purpose flour and wheat flour
  4. Add salt and prepare dough like chappathi
  5. For the ravioli filling add both the cheese and half cup of marinara sauce and make tiny balls
  6. Make thin chappathis and cut it into small squares using a ravioli press or a ravioli maker
  7. Stuff the ravioli and drop them in hot boiling water
  8. When they are cooked for 10 minutes take the ravioli out
  9. Add some olive oil and add the ravioli and marinara and cook for 5 minutes
  10. Grate some Parmesan cheese and serve the ravioli with basil
  11. Voila a la dente ravioli is ready
