A delicious way to eat asparagus !! crispy and crunchy guilt free snacks for all those hunger pangs.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 bunch asparagus
  2. 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  3. 1-1/2 tsp garlic powder
  4. 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  5. 1-1/2 tsp dried parsley
  6. 1 tsp Red chili flakes
  7. 2 eggs
  8. Salt and black pepper powder to taste
  9. Whole wheat Panko breadcrumbs as needed


  1. Preheat oven to 425 Deg F/200 Deg C.
  2. Cut off the woody stems of the asparagus approximately 1-2" from the base. Give a quick wash and drain excess water. Pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Beat eggs and keep aside.
  4. Combine flour, garlic powder, parsley, chili flakes, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper together. Whisk well.
  5. Roll the asparagus in flour, dip in eggs and then roll them in breadcrumbs.
  6. Arrange asparagus on a baking tray lined with ovenproof parchment paper.
  7. Spray olive oil over the asparagus and bake for 10 minutes flipping the asparagus midway through baking time.
  8. Remove from oven and serve with your choice of dipping sauce.
