Easy and filling, with left over rice for kids evening snack.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Left over rice - 2 to 3 cups
  2. Carrot - 1
  3. Capsicum - 1 small
  4. Onion-1
  5. Potatoe - 1
  6. Masalas:
  7. Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  8. Pav bhaji masala - t tsp
  9. Chat Masala - 1/2 tsp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  12. Chopped coriander - as you like
  13. Besan - 2 tsps
  14. Bread slices - 2 to 3
  15. Rava for coating

Instructions

  1. Chop all the veggies and fry with all the masalas and salt in the oil.
  2. Mash the rice a little.
  3. Now add the cooked veggies to the mashed rice.
  4. Add the besan
  5. Dip the bread slices in water, squeeze and add to the rice
  6. Add chopped coriander
  7. Mix well
  8. Check taste. Add any spice or salt if required(as per your taste)
  9. Now pinch lemon sized balls from the dough and shape it into chops
  10. Roll in rava and deep fry or shallow fry in oil.
  11. Serve hot.
