ABOUT Fresh Strawberry Tart RECIPE

Fresh strawberries, creamy filling and a sweet-and-crunchy crust.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Tart base:- Unsalted Butter 100 gm
  2. Icing/ Confectioners’ sugar 50 gm
  3. Salt 1 pinch
  4. Milk 2 Tbl spoon
  5. All-purpose flour 150 gm
  6. Vanilla extracts few Drops
  7. Mascarpone Cream for -
  8. Whipped topping cream 100 gm
  9. Mascarpone cheese 100 gm
  10. Vanilla extract- few drops
  11. Fruit topping and garnish-
  12. Fresh Strawberry
  13. Chocolate /Nuts (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Sieve flour and salt and keep aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugar in small bowl.
  3. Make dough by mixing all ingredients and keep dough in refrigerator for an hour.
  4. Remove dough from the refrigerator and roll out. Place into a greased tart pan and press it down into the pan and up the sides until it is even all around. Refrigerate tart for at least 10-15 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 170°C. Remove tart from the refrigerator, dock it with fork and bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool completely before filling.
  7. Make filling by mixing all the ingredients carefully and fill tart with same filling.
  8. Garnish the tart with fresh Strawberry and any other garnish like Chocolate, sliced pistachio for colour contrast.
