A delicious Indianized version of the pancakes, with the indulgence of spices and rice, follow this easy recipe to make some to serve these as breakfast to your loved ones.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. egg 1
  2. onions 2 finelychopped
  3. tomatoes 2 finelychopped
  4. Chili 1
  5. coriander one cup chopped
  6. Two cups rice flour
  7. Two spoon wheatflour
  8. Pinch of salt, red chillipowder,turmeric and dhaniyapowder


  1. 1.break the egg in a bowl
  2. Add all the vegetables and spices and mix
  3. Add both the flours and mix till you get a batter
  4. Add oil in a pan and spread the batter.. cook one side of it for 5 mins. Place a lid. Flip it and cook another side for 5 mins.
  5. Your cheela is ready.
  6. You can serve it with sauce .. chutney .. pickle or whatever you like!!
