Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup green peas
  2. 1 cup rice of your choice
  3. Water needed to boil the rice
  4. 1 teaspoon salt
  5. 2 teaspoons sugar
  6. 4 small green cardamom
  7. 4 cloves
  8. 1" piece of cinnamon
  9. 2 tablespoons of ghee
  10. 2/ teaspoon jeera

Instructions

  1. Wash rice and keep aside.
  2. Boil enough water to boil the rice
  3. Add the rice to the boiling water and then add the green peas also.
  4. Add the cardamoms, cloves and the cinnamon.
  5. When about three fourth done , remove from fire and add some cold water to stop the cooking.
  6. Drain the water and spread out the rice on a plate to cool.
  7. Add the salt and sugar , mix well.
  8. Heat ghee in a pan add the jeera and pour it on the rice. Mix well.
  9. Serve hot with curry of your choice.
