A tortilla chips is snacks food made from corn tortilla which are cut into wedges and then fried or bake,but here is some change and it's make with whole wheat and some fresh herbs.A wonderful healthy snacks and great way of energy when feel lazy.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 and 1/2 cup whole wheat aata
  2. A bunch of spinach
  3. 20-25 of fresh basil leaves
  4. 1/2 tsp carrom seeds
  5. 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
  6. 1/2 tsp black pepper
  7. salt to taste
  8. 2 tsp oil for making dough
  9. oil for cooking


  1. Washed spinach leaves and boiled it slightly,now drain it with cold water and transfer it in mixing jar,add basil leaves in it and make a not to thick or not running paste of it.
  2. Take Whole wheat flour in mixing bowl add all ingridients mix well add oil and make a smooth dough of it.
  3. Now with help of rolling pin make thin chappati of it and make triangular cut over it.
  4. The chips is fry better if they are a bit dried out first.Leave whole chappati out over night exposed to air.
  5. When it dry,break the chappati where make cuts now fry it or grease oil both side and baked it in preheated oven for 15-18 min.and served it with salsa and sour cream.
