Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. rice 1 cup
  2. Chana dal 1/2 cup
  3. spinach leaves 100 grams
  4. Green chillies 2
  5. ginger 1 inch piece
  6. garlic 5-6 cloves
  7. salt as per taste
  8. water to check consistency
  9. Cheese cubes or paneer 100 grams
  10. oil for smearing


  1. Soak rice n Chana dal for 3-4 hours.
  2. Wash them well. Add chillies, salt, garlic, ginger. Add little water and grind well in a grinder. Leave to ferment for 8 hours.
  3. Add water to get dosa like consistency.
  4. Heat a non stick griddle. Put batter on it and spread like dosa.
  5. Smear a little oil when it starts leaving sides.
  6. When it starts getting crispy, put shredded cheese or paneer on it and fold it from one side.
  7. Serve along with tomato sauce, coconut chutney or green chutney
