Aidi ta mat maari gayi ha ….. romeo kahi ka This is how a new love story started ……….. and the charisma sparkled … My drink is similar to their love story , kuch khatti kuch meethi a fire of love , a desire to win, a power of goodness and above all a true inspiration of togetherness of real bond of two different ingredients ……. Of course , I am foodie I am surely going to talk and marry only ingredients not people ….eeewwww

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 5 semi ripe strawberries
  2. Few mint leaves
  3. 1 can of ginger ale chilled
  4. ½ tsp Chat masala
  5. pinch of black salt
  6. 15 ml rum
  7. 15 ml vodka
  8. 2 Egg Whites
  9. 1 tsp sugar
  10. Pinch of Black pepper
  11. 4-5 drops of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. wash and cut the strawberries in halves ,take a pan and dry roast the strawberries for a minute, use a mortar pestle to muddle the strawberries adding the mint also , in a bowl add the egg whites and whisk till you peaks start forming
  2. now add sugar to it and whisk adding the lemon juice , pinch of black pepper , pinch black salt , keep whisking till you get stiff peaks as you would for a meringue
  3. keep it aside . now to assemble take a round semi deep glass , scoop the strawberries and mint mix add to the bottom of the glass , now pour the ginger ale with the help of a spoon so that you get that texture of half and half
  4. add the chat masala , balck salt , rum and vodka and just give a gentle mix . Now with the help a spoon scoop the egg white mix and top it on the drink covering it fully. Sprinkle a little chat masala on top
  5. Take a big spoon add rum to it and put it on fire (Flambe). Now pour the burning rum on the egg white mix and it will cook on its own . The technique is called flambé. A bit of décor to the glass and you are all sorted with a drink .
