Grilled Achari Machchi

Ingredients to make Grilled Achari Machchi

  • 500 grm fish
  • 1/2 tsp termeric powder
  • 2 tsp curd
  • 1 tsp ginger powder(saunth)
  • For roast masala,1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp corriender seeds
  • 2 red chilli
  • 1/2 tsp onion seeds
  • 1 tsp Kasuri methi
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 lemon Juice
  • 5-6 garlic clove
  • salt to taste
  • oil for fry

How to make Grilled Achari Machchi

  1. Wash fish nicely in a mixing take fish pieces now add termeric,curd,ginger, salt and few drops of oil and keep aside for marinate atleast 30 min.
  2. Take all roasted masala and roast in pan except lemon juice and garlic cloves.
  3. Now in a mixer jar grind it dry,now sprinkle this masala over the marinate fish,and add lemon juice in it and mix well.
  4. Now hot oil in grilled pan first add garlic cloves in it and now drop fish pieces in it and pan fry till completely grilled or brown in colour.
  5. Now serve it hot with lemon wedges and green chutney.

My Tip:

When roast masala add Kasuri methi in last otherwise it will burn and taste will spoil.
