Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Foxtail millet / Thinai : 3 cup
  2. Poha / Aval: 1 cup
  3. Urad dal : 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash & soak millet (millet + urad dal ) and poha separately for 3 hours.
  2. Grind together to a smooth batter.
  3. Leave it to ferment for 5 hours.
  4. Heat a dosa tawa, pour a laddle of batter and spread the batter lightly.
  5. The dosa should be thick.
  6. Once the bottom starts browning at the corners , flip to other side and cook on low flame.
  7. Remove from flame after few minutes.
  8. Serve hot sambar or chutneys of your choice.
