Ingredients to make Eggless black forest cake

  • 1 1/4 Cup maida
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup butter milk
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 cup coco powder
  • 1/2 Cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • Ingredients for icing
  • 1/2 cup chocolate shavings
  • 1/2 cup greated chocolate
  • 1 cup whip cream
  • 3-4 tbsp icing sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped cherries
  • 15-20 cherries

How to make Eggless black forest cake

  1. Sieve maida coco powder baking powder and baking soda three times
  2. Mix vinegar and butter milk and rest it for few minutes so that it curdle
  3. Blend sugar and butter till soft
  4. Add vanilla essence and blend it once
  5. Add little maida at a time in butter and add butter milk and fold it gently
  6. Add rest of maida and butter milk and fold it with cut and fold method
  7. Grease the baking tin and pour the batter in it
  8. Preheat the microwave on convection mode on 180 degree
  9. Bake the cake for 35-40 minutes
  10. Check it after 30 minutes
  11. When the toothpick cones out clean means that cake us ready take it out and let it rest for 7-8 hours
  12. Make a sugar syrup
  13. When the cake is completely cool cut it in three slices
  14. Top it with sugar syrup
  15. Whip the cream with blender till peak
  16. Spread the cream on first layer and then spread the chopped cherries
  17. Place the second layer and repeat the process
  18. On the top cover it with a thin layer of whip cream and keep it in freeze for 2-3 hours
  19. Take it our and do the final decoration
  20. Cover the whole cake with whip cream and then design it according to your choice
  21. Spread chocolate shavings on the top and greated chocolate on the sides
  22. Put some cherries on the top

My Tip:

Do check your cake after 30 minutes as the temperature differs
