ABOUT Chocolate Biscuit Pudding RECIPE

This is a quick dessert that can be whipped up in no time. Rich and creamy chocolate pudding between layers of coffee dipped crunchiness is just out of the world. Pamper your loved ones with this divine sweet with some fresh berries, chocolate curls and crunchy nuts on top. This recipe is picked from Sana's recipe notebook.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Milk 3 cups
  2. Cocoa powder 1/4 cup
  3. Sugar 1/2 cup
  4. corn flour 1/4 cup
  5. Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  6. Marie biscuits 15-20
  7. Instant Coffee Powder 1 tsp
  8. Hot water 3/4 cup
  9. Chopped walnuts 2 tbsp
  10. Cherries 6
  11. Chocolate curls 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together half cup milk, cocoa powder, and corn flour. Keep it aside.
  2. Mix the instant coffee powder in hot water and set it aside to cool.
  3. Boil the remaining milk with sugar.
  4. When it boils, add the corn flour mixture prepared earlier.
  5. Stir continuously over low flame. It will begin to thicken very soon as corn flour is added.
  6. Add in the vanilla essence too.
  7. Once it reaches the desired consistency, remove from flame and allow to cool.
  8. Now to arrange the dessert, dip each biscuit in the prepared coffee mix and place in the dish to form the base.
  9. Now carefully scoop in half of the chocolate mixture on top of this. Spread evenly with the back of a spoon.
  10. Drop few chopped walnuts and sliced cherries or any berries of your choice.
  11. Next repeat another layer of the coffee dipped biscuits.
  12. Pour in the remaining chocolate cream prepared. Spread evenly.
  13. Top it with the chopped walnuts and chocolate curls.
  14. Freeze for about 15-30 minutes.
