ABOUT Paneer Bulbul RECIPE

Its a yummy dish of paneer having a good taste having makhana in it....

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Onion - 3 medium sized (Boil them and make a paste)
  2. Tomato - 2 medium sized (Boil them and make paste)
  3. Ginger Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  4. Cornflour- 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Oil - 3 tablespoon
  6. Kashmiri Mirch Powder - 1 teaspoon
  7. Dalchini - 2 piece
  8. Choti Elaichi - 2 piece
  9. Laung - 2 piece
  10. Tejpatta - 1piece
  11. Kaju - 2 teaspoon (dardara)
  12. Red Chilli Powder - as per taste
  13. Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  14. Kasoori Methi - 1 tablespoon
  15. Water - 1 cup
  16. Salt - as per taste
  17. For making Makhane balls :
  18. Paneer - 2 tablespoon (mashed)
  19. Maida -1 teaspoon
  20. Makhane - 8 piece (roasted)

Instructions

  1. Mix paneer and maida and make a dough. Put half makhana in little dough and make balls. The makhana should be stuffed in the dough.
  2. Boil the onions and tomatoes and mash them seperately. Mix the corn flour and ginger garlic paste together in a small bow.
  3. Make a paste of dalchini, choti elaichi & laung with some water.
  4. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan, add kashmiri mirch powder, add the dlachini-elaichi-laung paste, tejpatta, onion paste and cook the mixture till oil seperates.
  5. Then add kasoori methi, makhane, dardara kaju, tomato paste, salt and cook till color changes.
  6. Add red chilli powder as per taste.
  7. Add garam masala powder. When it leaves oil, then add the balls and ginger garlic paste with cornflour.
  8. Mix and add 1 cup water. Cook it for 8 minutes at low flame and cover it.
  9. Garnish it with grated paneer. Serve hot with roti or naan.
