Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. All purpose flour 3/4 cup
  2. Baking powder 3/4 tsp
  3. Baking soda 1/8 tsp
  4. Salt 1/8 tsp
  5. Cocoa powder 1/4 cup
  6. Sugar 1/4 cup
  7. Egg 1
  8. Milk 1/4 cup
  9. Vinegar 3 drops
  10. Oil 1/4 cup
  11. Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
  12. Heavy cream 1/4 cup
  13. Dark Chocolate 150 gm chopped
  14. Butter 1/2 tbsp
  15. Strawberries a handful

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 deg.
  2. Grease a 6" pan.
  3. Mix all the dry ingredients.
  4. Whisk all the wet ingredients.
  5. Whisk wet ingredients into dry mix until well blended.
  6. Pour this into the greased pan.
  7. Bake at 170 deg for 25 min.
  8. Bake for another 10 min at 150 deg.
  9. While the cake is in the oven, prepare the ganache.
  10. Place chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
  11. Heat cream and butter until a boil.
  12. Pour this cream on the chocolate.
  13. Give it a stir until the chocolate melts.
  14. Wash, hull and cut the strawberries.
  15. Take out the cake.
  16. Remove it from the pan.
  17. Pour the ganache over it.
  18. Decorate it with strawberries.
