ABOUT Victoria sponge cake RECIPE

This is a traditional british sponge cake which buttery soft layered with the whipping cream

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 100gm butter
  2. 100 gm sugar
  3. 100gm self rising flour
  4. 2 egg
  5. 250 ml whipping cream
  6. 100gm powdered sugar
  7. Strawberry

Instructions

  1. pre heat the oven to 180°c
  2. cream butter and sugar till fluffy
  3. Add eggs one by one
  4. sift the flour into the mixture and fold until combined
  5. Bake @180°c for 20 -25 minutes
  6. whip the whipping cream with powdered sugar till soft peaks are formed
  7. Take 2 tbsp of cream add pink colour and pipe in the corners of cake and fill it with remaining white cream pour the shite cream in a piping bag and pipe on top of it.garnish with sliced strawberries.
