    Murg Makhani

    Ingredients to make Murg Makhani

    • 500 gms chicken
    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
    • 2 onions
    • 4 tomatoes
    • 2 green chillies finely chopped
    • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
    • 2 green cardamoms
    • 2 cloves
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
    • 2 small pieces cinamon
    • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
    • 1 tsp garam masala
    • 2 tbsp fresh cream
    • salt to taste

    How to make Murg Makhani

    1. Boil the chicken with a little salt.
    2. Take onions and put them in a mixer to make a paste.
    3. Take onions and fresh cream and blend them in a mixer.
    4. Take half the butter and heat it in a pan.
    5. Add onion paste to it. Fry till golden brown.
    6. Add ginger garlic paste and green chillies to it.
    7. Now add tomato paste and cook.
    8. Add all other ingredients except chicken and remaining butter.
    9. Fry them till the masala leaves the oil. You may add a few spoons of water in case the paste becomes too dry.
    10. Now add little water to it and bring it to boil.
    11. Add chicken to it and cook for 5 mins on medium flame.
    12. Add half of the remaining butter and cook for another 5 mins with closed lid.
    13. Add the remaining butter and cook for another 5 mins.
    14. Murg Makhani is ready to serve.
