Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour - 2 cups
  2. Besan - 1 cup
  3. Turmeric powder - half tspn
  4. Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  5. Methi leaves - 1 big cup
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Jeera - half tspn
  8. Asafoetida - 2 pinches ( optional )
  9. Oil for Deep frying
  10. Water for kneading

Instructions

  1. Wash the methi leaves & cut small
  2. Now in a bowl add the atta & besan
  3. Put salt , red chilly pwdr & turmeric pwdr,jeera & hing....mix well....
  4. Now add little oil & the chopped methi leaves.
  5. Knead into soft dough with little water.... Keep aside for half an hour.
  6. Later make small balls & roll to make round puris.
  7. Now in a kadai put oil & when hot add the puris....Fry well from both sides.... serve hot with raita & sabzi... :blush:
