Ingredients to make Gobhi ke Parathe

  • Whole wheat flour - 2 and half cup
  • oil - 1 tbsp
  • Grated cauliflower - 1 cup
  • chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • turmeric Powder -1/2 tsp
  • garam masala powder - 1tsp
  • Chopped Green chillies - 2
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
  • salt
  • water

How to make Gobhi ke Parathe

  1. Take 2 and half cup whole wheat flour in a big bowl. Add 1/2 tbsp oil and 1tsp salt. Add water and knead a soft dough.
  2. Grate Cauliflower and keep aside. Heat 1/2 tbsp oil in a pan. Put grated Cauliflower in pan. Add chopped coriander leaves, green chillies, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt. Cook on high flame for 5 to 7 minutes. When it becomes dry switch off the gas.
  3. Make lemon size balls from dough. Flatten them with your hand and give them bowl shape. Stuff Cauliflower mixture in it and close. Roll it with rolling pin like chapati and cook on tava from both side. Apply ghee or butter and enjoy with green chutney.

My Tip:

Always stuff dry mixture in dough balls.
