Kuih sago is a malasian dessert . Actually it is a steamed tapioca cake .

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Sago 1 cup soaked over night
  2. Half cup powdered sugar
  3. Rose syrup 3-4 tsp
  4. Desicnated coconut powder Half cup
  5. CORN FLOUR 1 TBSP

Instructions

  1. First take soaked sago , wash it properly and drain .
  2. Now in a big bowl , add soaked sago, corn flour and powdered sugar . Mix all ingredients well. Now add rose syrup into this and mix all ingredients again .
  3. Take a tray ;grease it well . Pour sago mix on it . Spread well . Now steam it until the sago turns transparent in appearance. It takes for about 30 - 35 minutes .
  4. Remove from heat and set aside to cool down .
  5. Cut into dearie shape . Here I have used heart shape cookie cutter for giving heart shape . Coat with desicnated coconut and serve .
