Its a simple flatbread stuffed with sev spice filling.Saw the recipe from chef sanjeev kapoor site ,immediately tried and tasted it.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Wheat flour - 1 cup + Extra for rolling
  2. Salt - to taste
  3. Water - for kneading the dough
  4. Oil -as required
  5. For Filling:
  6. Nylon Sev -1/2 cup
  7. Finely chopped onion -1/2 cup
  8. Garam Masala -1/4 tsp
  9. cumin powder -1/4 tsp
  10. Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  11. Amchoor powder -1/4 tsp
  12. Chaat masala -1/2 tsp
  13. Salt-to taste
  14. Finely chopped coriander leaves -1 tsp

Instructions

  1. *In a bowl mix the flour,salt,1 tsp oil .Then slowly add required water to make stiff dough.Covered with damp cloth,keep it aside for 15 mins.
  2. *Meanwhile ,In a bowl add the ingredients from "For Filling" .Mix it well.
  3. *Divide the dough into 4 equal lemon sized balls.Take a ball roll into a small thick circle.Place the 2 tbsp filling in the centre,carefully pull the edges together and close it.
  4. *Now roll into a slightly thick paratha.Heat the pan,when it is hot place the rolled paratha .Let it cook until the brown spots appear,turn it and cook on the other sides also..sprinkle little oil on both sides while cooking.
  5. *Serve hot with curd/pickle/butter.
