Stuffed French Toast (Eggless)

Ingredients to make Stuffed French Toast (Eggless)

  • 8 whole wheat bread slices
  • ½ Cup Softened cream Cheese
  • 2/3 Cup natural strawberry jelly
  • ½ Cup sliced strawberries
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup soy milk
  • 1 ½ tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tbsp flax seed meal
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • oil as required
  • For garnishing - sliced strawberries, sliced bananas, powdered sugar, strawberry jelly and whipped cream

How to make Stuffed French Toast (Eggless)

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sugar. Now add sliced strawberries. In a blender, blend flax seed meal, cinnamon, vanilla extract, soy milk together.
  2. Spread the cream cheese and jelly mix on each side of the bread halves. Put together like sandwich.
  3. Soak each sandwich in the mixture for 5 seconds or until covered.
  4. Heat a griddle at medium-high. Once the pan is hot, spray some oil and place each sandwich in the pan.
  5. Cook until each side is golden brown, about 2 minutes each.
  6. Transfer it into a serving plate.
  7. Slice the sandwich in half and spread jelly.
  8. Drizzle some powdered sugar over it and top with the sliced strawberries, bananas and whipped cream.
