ABOUT Kasuri Methi Laccha Parantha RECIPE

Kasuri methi laccha parantha is ideal for breakfast as well lunch and dinner. It can be served with a curry of your choice or with a hot and spicy pickle.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 2 cups wheat flour plus extra 1/4 cup for dusting
  2. 2 tsp roasted dry fenugreek leaves
  3. 2 tbsp Fresh Cream
  4. A pinch ground carrom seeds
  5. Water as needed to make a medium soft dough
  6. Salt according to taste
  7. 5 tbsp oil
  8. 4 tbsp clarified butter for applying over the roti

Instructions

  1. In a clean bowl add wheat flour salt,fresh cream,ground carrom seeds and roasted fenugreek leaves and required amount of water to form a medium soft dough. Apply oil over it leave for 10-15 mins to rest.
  2. After 15 mins or so pinch a medium sized ball dip in flour and roll out into disc apply some oil and sprinkle little flour.
  3. Make small cut in disc and roll in shape of cone.
  4. Once the cone is done press it down to form a small flat disc.
  5. Roll out this disc in to a medium sized roti
  6. Cook this over a medium heat by applying clarified butter on both sides till nice and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with your choice of pickle or curry
