Lemon Cake to drizzle some tangy love in your life

Flour - 1cup
Baking Powder - 1tsp
Butter - 1/2cup
Castor Sugar - 1/2cup
Eggs - 2
Lemon Zest - 1
Lemon Juice - 2tbsp

Instructions

* Preheat oven to 180C and Line the bottom of 9 inch loaf pan with a piece of parchment paper.
* Sieve flour and baking powder into a bowl and keep aside.
* In a large bowl cream butter and sugar together till it becomes light and fluffy.
* Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
* Add lemon zest and lemon juice and mix to combine.
* Add the flour mixture and mix well to make a smooth batter. Pour the batter into loaf pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
