ABOUT Bejar ki roti RECIPE

Its a traditional rajasthani roti,made of three wholesome flours,rich in protein.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat flour...1/2 cup
  2. Jowar(millet) flour....1/2cup
  3. Besan...1/4 cup
  4. Roasted cumin seeds(jeera)..1/2 tsp
  5. Green chilli paste...1tsp
  6. Chopped coriander leaves..2tbsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Whole wheat flour for rolling.
  9. Ghee for cooking.

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl or place and knead into a soft dough using lukewarm water.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
  3. Roll out each portion into a round roti, using a little while wheat flour.
  4. Heat a pan or tava and cook each roti,using ghee,till it turns golden brown in colour from both sides.
  5. Serve with curd and chutney or pickle of your choice.
