Bejar ki roti

Ingredients to make Bejar ki roti

  • Whole wheat flour...1/2 cup
  • Jowar(millet) flour....1/2cup
  • besan...1/4 cup
  • Roasted cumin seeds(jeera)..1/2 tsp
  • Green chilli paste...1tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves..2tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • Whole wheat flour for rolling.
  • ghee for cooking.

How to make Bejar ki roti

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl or place and knead into a soft dough using lukewarm water.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
  3. Roll out each portion into a round roti, using a little while wheat flour.
  4. Heat a pan or tava and cook each roti,using ghee,till it turns golden brown in colour from both sides.
  5. Serve with curd and chutney or pickle of your choice.
