Chocolate Orange Verrine

Ingredients to make Chocolate Orange Verrine

  • For white chocolate and orange mousse
  • 1 cup Full cream Milk
  • 2tbsp cornflour powder
  • 2tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1tsp Vanilla essence
  • 75gms grated white chocolate
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 1tbsp orange zest
  • For Chocolate Ganache
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/4 cup grated chocolate
  • For Orange curd
  • 1 cup Orange juice
  • 1tsp orange zest
  • Juice of half lemon
  • 2tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1.5tbsp cornflour
  • 2tbsp water

How to make Chocolate Orange Verrine

  1. For white chocolate mousse - Mix 2tbsp milk in cornflour and keep aside.. Heat remaining milk with sugar..
  2. Add in cornflour paste and cook till thick.. Once done switch off flame and add in white chocolate and vanilla essence.. Mix well and let it cool..
  3. Add in orange zest and whipped cream.. Fold lightly..
  4. For chocolate ganache - Heat cream till bubbles appear on sides.. Switch off flame and add chocolate and mix well.. Let it cool..
  5. For orange curd - In a pan heat orange juice, lemon juice, sugar and orange zest.. Mix water in cornflour and add to the orange juice.. Keep stirring till thick.. Remove from flame and let it cool..
  6. Fill each of the layers in piping bag.. Layer it in shot glass and garnish with mint and drop of strawberry sauce / jam
