Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For kofta ingredients
  2. Palak not boiled chopped 100g
  3. Hing a pinch off
  4. Gram flour 2 half tsp
  5. Namak for taste
  6. Small 2 onion chopped
  7. Green chilli 2 chopped
  8. Kaju powder 3 tsp
  9. Oil for deep frying 3 tbls
  10. For kofta gravy ingredients
  11. Big onion 2
  12. Green chilli 2
  13. Tomato 2
  14. Dry spices badi elaichi, laung, dalchini, kalimirch, javitri, fulchakri, larch mirch, jeera
  15. Oil 2 tbls
  16. Namak for taste
  17. Kuju paste half cup
  18. Haldi 1 tsp
  19. Dhaniya powder 1 tsp
  20. Lalmirch 1 tsp
  21. Garlic ginger paste 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. For kofta method Add gram flour to the spinach mixture and mix everything together to the consistency for rolling the balls for koftas with the dough. Add some water if need or add more gram flour if dough is too soft.Before you start making balls heat 2 cups of oil in a frying pan or a kadhi on medium heat in about 7 to 8 minutes oil will become hot, to test it drop a small piece of dough in the hot oil if the dough start sizzling and comes up it means  oil is hot enough, turn the heat down.  Once the balls become golden brown or the desired cooler take them off the oil     and place them in a plate over the paper towel so that extra oil .
  2. For gravy method Heat oil then add sabut garam masala , Onion ,garlic ,greenchilli, tomato and let it cook 2 to 3 min before blending golden brown and blend nicely. add blend mixture and sauté . mixture starts leaving the oil and reduces to about half in quantity. Add kaju paste about half cup for garnishing and cook for another minute. Add about 1-1/2 cups of water, as it comes to boil reduce the heat to low and let the gravy cook for few minutes. Note: adjust the thickness of the gravy to your taste by adjusting the water. Add the prepared koftas and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes.

Superb recipe... wish you had added the method stepwise, it would be more easy to follow...
