Twisted Shrikhand

Ingredients to make Twisted Shrikhand

  • White Chocolate - 125 gms
  • curd - 1 cup (hung)
  • lemon essence - 1tsp
  • saffron - 1 tsp (keep some for garnishing)
  • cardamom - 1 tsp (peeled & crushed)
  • Heavy cream - 1tbsp
  • pomegranate - 2 tbsp (keep some for garnishing)
  • Milk - 1tsp

How to make Twisted Shrikhand

  1. Melt White Chocolate in a microwave bowl.
  2. Temper it well.
  3. Puree pomegranate with milk and some strands of saffron.
  4. Now Whisk curd in the white chocolate until well blended.
  5. Add pomegranate puree and whisk again.
  6. Add cardamom and cream to it and whisk until all is finely mixed.
  7. Pour it into the serving glasses.
  8. Let it rest in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
  9. Garnish with pomegranate and saffron strands.
  10. Serve it chilled.
